I love this. Sometimes writers–especially fic writers–get a lot of flack for how physical reactions are described. You know, all the clenched fists, raised eyebrows, pursed lips jokes. BUT the truth is that in real life most of us are very good at expressing almost nothing physically, or lying very well. Blank looks, smiling believably when we’re really pissed or sad, acting excited about stuff we don’t care about; we’re experts, and writers really can’t do anything with that unless they are in that character’s head at that moment.
Characters in fiction have to be more visually expressive than people in real life are, otherwise they would be impossible to write without coming off like robots…or coming off as empty writing.

That’s because it’s set to explicit, a setting that was locked after the great purge:
BUT
If you right-click on that toggle and click “inspect element”, you can change that.
Notice how the input tag has a disabled attribute? Just remove that whole thing:
The toggle is now active
And toggleable
And now, after a quick refresh, my old (crap, but real) icon and header image are back, and the blog is no longer treated as hidden or explicit.
The goggle also disappears after the refresh, but it’s worth noting that you can also edit the toggle back into the settings panel and change your blog back to explicit if you so desire.
This is a perfect example of the laziness of tumblr’s devs. They haven’t removed the functionality, they’ve just kinda-sorta hidden it a bit; the end-point that the explicit toggle hits is still there.
We made it to the Astral Plains. We did it. We found her. After 8 days (8 years in Astral Plain) we found Coals. We have her back! It was a tearful reunion. And we made new friends! THERE’S ANOTHER HALF ORC DRUID!!! She’s super calm and shit! Shit is WACK! Her and Teddy are gonna be friends I can just feel it!
It’s 3am. I can’t sleep. We had our session. And I am so FUCKING HYPED! We are about to save Coals from the astral plains! Find the druids! Join their circle! Go to the Temple of Imbalance! And Teddy might get 3 dating options?! She confessed to Nora too!!!! It wasn’t a yes but wasn’t a no either. Turns out, Nora is 26 so the age gap between them isn’t as large as I previously thought. But she did get surprised when Teddy said she was 19. She’s flattered. Told her not to give up but give it time. Maybe when the world isn’t in danger to ask her again. Teddy took it very well. They laughed together and shared a hug. And the rest of the group had a therapy group session that ended with a group hug and a lot of “I love you guys”. No matter what comes, the Wicked Clovers are ready.
Gonna start from scratch again cuz my old DA is just too full of cringe and old art. And since Tumblr is throwing in the towel on NSFW art, I need to go back I guess lol. Man. Having flashbacks of Middle School and Freshman year of high School
